Standing Faced with this tragedy, how would I have reacted if I had had to play a competition that weekend? I don't think I would have found the strength or the motivation to do so. I would have called my teammates and the organizer in turn to warn them of my package. NuL doubts that everyone would have understood my reasons. Others found themselves confronted with this question, especially in most of the leagues where the Coupe de France was disputed. They resolved it differently, honoring their commitment. No value judgment has to be made in such circumstances. Playing could be the best way to show that you were still standing. Dumbfounded, distressed, angry but standing.
