By placing an order on the website www.lebridgeur.com, you confirm your acceptance of these general conditions and agree to be bound by them. Our sales are subject to these general conditions which prevail over any other stipulation from the buyer.
Furthermore, these general terms and conditions of sale aim to inform any potential buyer about the conditions under which the seller proceeds with the sale and delivery of the ordered products. The fact that the buyer clicks on the payment icon of the order implies knowledge of these general terms and conditions of sale and constitutes irrevocable and definitive consent from the customer to all provisions appearing in the general terms and conditions of sale.
The information contained in this service is subject to change without notice. The products sold on LE BRIDGEUR's website comply with the standards and legislation in force in France. It is the client's responsibility to verify, under their sole responsibility, that these products can be imported and consumed in the country of their choice.
The photographs illustrating the products are not part of the contractual field. If, moreover, errors have been introduced, in no case shall LE BRIDGEUR's liability be incurred.
02 - Price
The prices of our products are indicated in euros, all taxes included, excluding participation in processing and shipping costs. Regarding the price of books, it is established in strict compliance with the Lang Law 81-766 of August 10, 1981 and Law 2014-779 of July 8, 2014.
Within this framework, LE BRIDGEUR offers its customers the most attractive price allowed by law.
2.1. In case of an order to a country other than metropolitan France, you are the importer of the product(s) concerned. For all products shipped outside the European Union and French overseas territories, the price will be calculated excluding taxes automatically on the invoice. Customs duties or other local taxes or import duties or state taxes may be payable. These duties and sums do not fall within the remit of LE BRIDGEUR. They will be at your expense and are your sole responsibility, both in terms of declarations and payments to the competent authorities and/organizations in your country. We advise you to inquire about these aspects with your local authorities.
2.2. LE BRIDGEUR reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but products will be invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time of your order validation.
2.3. The products remain the property of Le Bridgeur until full payment of the price.
03 - Contract Formation
Orders placed through the website commit the buyer from the order acceptance given by the buyer on the website.
3.1. In accordance with Article L. 111.1 of the Consumer Code, LE BRIDGEUR's database allows the Customer, before concluding the contract, to know the essential characteristics of the product they wish to order.
3.2. The Customer chooses one or more products from different categories.
3.3. The products offered by LE BRIDGEUR are described and presented with the greatest accuracy.
3.4. However, in the event that a supplier modifies a product, the graphic representation of it would not engage the responsibility of LE BRIDGEUR nor affect the validity of the sale.
3.5. Offers are only valid while stocks last.
3.6. From the moment the customer has registered their order, they are considered to have accepted with full knowledge and without reservation the prices, volumes, and quantities offered for sale and ordered.
3.7. Any order placed by a Customer is for their personal use or for the personal use of the person in whose name the delivery is to be made. In the latter case, the Customer guarantees the personal acceptance of these General Conditions by the delivery recipient.
3.8. LE BRIDGEUR recommends that the Customer keep this information on a paper or computer document.
04 - The Order
4.1. Prior identification
To place an order, you must identify yourself with your email address and password. For any first order, you will need to create an account.
4.2. Registration and validation of the order
Once your cart is validated, you will have to choose the address and delivery method, and validate your payment method, this last step formalizing the sales contract with LE BRIDGEUR.
Any order constitutes acceptance of the prices and descriptions of products available for sale.
LE BRIDGEUR will acknowledge receipt of your order upon validation by sending you a confirmation email.
In certain cases, particularly for payment default, erroneous address, or any other problem related to your account, LE BRIDGEUR reserves the right to block your order until the problem is resolved.
In case of unavailability of an ordered product, you will be informed by email. The cancellation of the order for this product and its possible refund.

05 - Payment Methods
Payment for your purchases is made:

The card is debited at the time of order validation.
The check is cashed upon receipt of the check.
06 - Security
Our site is subject to a security system. All payment phases to be carried out between the buyer and our payment providers (Stripe or Paypal) are entirely encrypted and protected. The SSL protocol used is coupled with bank monetization. This means that information related to the order and the credit card number never circulate in clear text on the Internet.
07 - Delivery
7.1. LE BRIDGEUR offers to deliver your order to your home or to the home of the person for whom you intend this order (in this case, we do not include an invoice with the package).
You simply need to create your account by registering on our site. After shopping online and validating your cart, you will choose the billing address (yours), then choose the delivery address.
7.2. LE BRIDGEUR has chosen La Poste for shipping products. Following the preparation of the order by us, you are delivered within 72 hours on business days, with complete peace of mind throughout metropolitan France (subject to stock availability). In some cases, delivery is handled by a specialized carrier (heavy or bulky packages, such as our bridge tables or mats). The delays are not longer.

08 - Right of Withdrawal
8.1. In accordance with the legal provisions in force, you have a period of 15 days from the receipt of your products to exercise your right of withdrawal with Le Bridgeur without having to justify reasons or pay a penalty.
In case of exercise of the right of withdrawal within the aforementioned period, only the price of the product(s) purchased will be refunded. In case of defect of the product(s), the return costs will be at our expense.
Returns must be made in their original condition and complete (packaging, accessories, instructions...) allowing their recommercialization as new, and accompanied by a copy of the purchase invoice for optimized management.
8.2. Products excluded from the right of withdrawal
In accordance with current regulations, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for books, customizable products or computer software unsealed by the customer, magazines or subscriptions to our magazines, digital products for download. As such, by concluding the sales contract, you waive this right. (Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code)

Le Bridgeur will refund the returned products, subject to compliance with the conditions mentioned above.
09 - Customer Identification

9.2. The provision of personal information collected for the purpose of distance selling is mandatory, this information being essential for the processing and shipping of orders as well as the preparation of invoices. Failure to provide this information will result in the non-validity of the order.
9.3. The Customer gives their consent to the use of personal data under the terms of this order for Le Bridgeur's customer file and for the dissemination of this data to third parties. In accordance with the French law "informatique et liberté" No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, the Customer has a right of access, withdrawal, and rectification of data concerning them which they can exercise at any time.
10 - Warranties, Liability, Limitations
10.1. LE BRIDGEUR guarantees through its suppliers that the products have been subject to all necessary care to ensure their conformity with the description that appears on the site at the date of the order. This is the only warranty granted by LE BRIDGEUR. No other external or tacit warranty is granted. In particular, LE BRIDGEUR cannot guarantee that the products meet the specific expectations of the Customer.
10.2. The Customer is solely responsible for the choice of products, their conservation from the time of delivery, and their use.
10.3. Similarly, LE BRIDGEUR cannot be held responsible for non-compliance with legislative or regulatory provisions in force in the country of delivery, LE BRIDGEUR being solely responsible for compliance with French regulations relating to products.
10.4. LE BRIDGEUR cannot be held responsible for any non-performance that would have as its origin one of the cases of force majeure beyond its control, without this being limiting: war, riot, insurrection, fire, earthquake, storm, flood...
11 - Dispute
11.1. The parties agree that only French legislation and language will be applicable. Disputes will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the PARIS (France) court.
12 - Intellectual Property
12.1. All texts, comments, reviews, works, illustrations, works, and images reproduced or represented on the BRIDGEUR site are strictly reserved under copyright as well as under intellectual property rights and for the entire world. As such and in accordance with the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code, only use for private purposes is authorized, subject to different, or even more restrictive provisions of the Intellectual Property Code. 13 - Subscription
13.1. Recurring payment
If you have chosen to be debited monthly, you will be immediately debited for the monthly amount and on the fifth of each month.
If you have chosen the subscription for one year, you will be immediately debited for the annual amount and your subscription will be automatically renewed every twelve months.
13.2. Unsubscribe
To do this, click on your profile, go to the "My account" section, "My subscriptions" then click on "Cancel subscription".
Once your subscription is cancelled, you will receive a confirmation email and no deduction will be made from your bank account by us the following month.
